Mallow Chips were made as a healthier, more nutritious alternative to candy, with no preservatives, artificial dyes, or other artificial ingredients. Compared to other candies, we use no oils, use real organic fruit, provided with protein and marshmallow root as a mucilage.

Since Mallow Chips are made with real ingredients, sometimes the absence of preservatives and stabilizers means a more fragile product. Even after freeze-drying, the honey crystals in each chip can still melt from both direct sunlight and heat. It is recommended to keep our Chips in a cool and dry environment! Mallow Chips can sometimes also get harder from extended periods of moisture exposer from a bag that has been left open. Honey crystals are extremely hygroscopic (loves to attract moisture in any way possible) , and through that process the chips will harder and even soften to a jerky texture if exposed to moisture long enough. Keep the bag sealed!!!

Each bag is freeze-dried for over 30 hours! Our process involves whipping marshmallow, while all of our cutting and fruit processing is done within a walk-in freezer, brrrrrr…
